As the demands for Search & Rescue Responders to join the professional ranks of other Public Safety communities increase, the need to seek a quality foundation in SAR Education and Certification continues to grow. AERIE believes this education starts with basic Ground SAR training and progresses through Leadership and Specialization.
AERIE offers Certification Exams(CE) in several disciplines for canine search and rescue/recovery handlers. For a general overview of the examination process and guidelines please review the Canine Search Specialist Examination Annex (pdf). All registration for examinations will be conducted through AERIE.

- Water Human Remains Detection Canine Search Specialist
