September 30 - October 4

$650.00

HELLO PROSPECTIVE STUDENT!  WELCOME to the registration process for the CIRT K9 DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR including AERIE CIRT K9 Certification – OKLAHOMA CITY!  PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE YOU ENTER ANY INFORMATION.  It is essential that you gather up the required documentation that needs to be uploaded AT THE TIME YOU ENTER YOUR REGISTRATION DATA!  Additionally, this is a FEE BASED CONFERENCE.  No attendance will be granted, and your registration will be voided, unless payment is made at the time of registration.  So, when you gather up your verification documents, remember to grab your preferred method of payment.  Once you have all that, then, please complete the registration including entering all the data, uploading the required documents, and “buying the ticket” (pay the registration fee).  If your agency is paying (directly, using a payment other than your personal or department credit card) for your Conference attendance, Please have them contact Dion Petaros at [email protected] to make arrangements.  More details and information is included below.  If you have questions, please contact Janeen Baggette (K9s for Freedom and Independence) at [email protected]And thanks again for joining us in Oklahoma City!

This seminar is an incredible opportunity to gain volumes of knowledge in the training and handling of these invaluable K9 partners. This year will be even bigger! With the nation’s top Instructors from numerous training organizations in one location, there’s no better time to start your Critical Incident K9 education or elevate your and your canine partner’s readiness to successfully challenge the AERIE CIRT K9 national certification. This registration process also allows you to challenge that certification exam, during the Seminar.  AERIE Examiners will be present to put you and your canine through the testing procedure during the last days of the Conference (In order to test, you must upload ALL the required documentation for both you and your K9 partner, during this registration process). We will also be introducing some additional AERIE Certifications for your CIRT K9, in the future!

Special group rates have been negotiated with the hotel (Embassy Suites by Hilton – Oklahoma City, (405) 246-6018, but number of rooms is limited.  Please contact the hotel directly, mentioning CIRT K9 DEVELOPMENT SEMINAR, book your room(s).

Once you complete this conference registration process, you will receive an email with a link to a mandatory questionnaire.  Please complete this questionnaire as soon as possible.  No one will be allowed to attend without completing the questionnaire.  If you attended last year’s Conference you will not be required to complete the pre-Conference questionnaire, this year.  You will also receive an email with a link to take the online, CIRT K9 Certification written exam.  If you are recertifying, there is no need to take the written exam again.

In addition to completing this registration form, and purchasing your ticket, you must upload these documents with your registration (IF YOU ATTENDED LAST YEAR’S NATIONAL CONFERENCE, AND IF BRINGING THE SAME K9 PARTNER AS LAST YEAR’S NATIONAL CONFERENCE, WE HAVE YOUR DOCUMENTS ON FILE.  JUST STATE “LAST YEAR ATTENDEE” IN THE COMMENT SECTION. Otherwise) Please upload these documents at the time of registration:

1. Agency photo ID of you (and your Canine, if attending with you, jointly or independently if separately badged). An Agency Letter, from your Supervisor, identifying you (and your canine), by name, is acceptable.

2. Documentation of Agency Approved PEER Support Training you have received

For those who are going to be testing for recertification, we still request you submit the required documents listed below, unless you are testing the same K9 and submitted your documents last year. If you and this K9 partner tested last year, simply enter “Tested in 2024” in the comment section of the registration and submit this (current year’s) veterinarian wellness visit record.  The written exam, however, has not been updated this year, so those re-certifying will be exempt from taking the written exam.  If your agency is paying for your testing (other than using your personally issued credit card), please ask them to contact Dion Petaros at 214-558-9160 for arrangements. Thanks for choosing AERIE (again) for your CIRT K9 certification needs!
